Meet Taylor Crow, LPC-A
I am a licensed professional counselor associate committed to supporting individuals through life’s difficulties while fostering growth and emotional strength.
My approach to therapy is shaped by collaboration and empathy. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral and dialectical-behavioral therapies. I view each client as the expert in their own experience and work alongside them to co-create a treatment plan that honors their values, goals, and pace. Together, we will identify what’s no longer serving you, cultivate new ways of thinking, and develop practical skills for meaningful change.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity University in 2023. Then, I continued my schooling by earning my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts. During my time at Assumption University, I was awarded a graduate fellowship where I assisted two professors in their research regarding the connection between gratitude, dispositional serenity, and positive affect.
While working toward my degree, I interned at Community Healthlink in Worcester, Massachusetts, where I gained experience working with diverse populations in adult outpatient care. Throughout my graduate training, I strengthened my competencies by using an integrative therapy approach tailored to each client’s unique needs, emphasizing evidence-based treatment.
Outside of the office, I enjoy gardening until the Texas heat becomes too overwhelming. I also enjoy cooking new recipes I find online and exploring new music genres. If I’m not busy doing any of these activities, I’m most likely watching the latest sci-fi and horror films.
